What is in the centre of János Megyik’s art (1938, Szolnok) is something on the border of painting, plastic art and architecture: modelling the structure of wood painting. During his experimenting, the artist found so spatial relations that are owned by both architecture and plastic art. János Megyik’s oeuvre exhibition focuses on were wooden paintings are situated in the world of János Megyik as spatial model and three dimensional object.

The large-scale exhibition presents paintings, drawings by Megyik, his stick constructions, photograms, cardboard relieves and steel sheets from his latest artistic period.
