The name of the ethnographer Dr. Károly Kós (1919-1996) is less known for the public, unlike the name of his writer and architect father that is well-known. Dr. Károly Kós did a great number of land monographs and studies, with a special feature, excellent and telling drawings.

The exhibition presents original drawings by Dr. Károly Kós that he did during his field trips. He draw on whatever he managed to find, sometimes his notebook, but also just pieces of paper. The graphics offer a comprehensive picture of the life in Transylvania, life we would find only a fragment of these days. The quality drawings by Dr. Károly Kós just are just as valuable as individual works of art as illustrations.
