A beautifull introduction to the colourfull folk art in Veszprém county. The folk art was discoverd by the civilian society. The countryman did not intent to make "art". He prepared tools and decorated it because he wanted to add something more: the decoration was a kind of non-verbal language. The tools were often changed their funcitons while being herited from generation to generation: in this way a bride's case (which was used to collect her dowery) became a part of a barow then chopping board which was used at picksticking.

The exhbition displays all kind of work: woodcraft, textile, lacework, pottery, jewelery, etc.. The unique maquetry inlay of Veszprem county is also being displayed.
