József Gaál was born in Tahitótfalu in 1960. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts majoring in multiplying graphics. Among his masters were Imre Kocsis, Károly Raszler and Tibor Rozanits. He lives in Budapest. He has arranged exhibitions since he was a college student. He has been honoured with numerous artisitic awards.
