The exhibition is made up of the material sent in to the announcement called 'Let Us Make a Museum Together'. The material made more familiar and personal by relics from the citizens of the town is amended by works of art owned by the museum.
The topic of the exhibition is living in community. The scenes of public life and amusement, restaurants of the 1930's, movies of the 1960's youth clubs of the 1980's are remembered of by interiors. Fine artworks recall the image of the town; posters invite us to programs, theatre, movie, football match and to restaurant.
Medical instruments from the hospital collection and wine bottle labels from the Lipót Kohn Liquor and Rum Factory are shown.
Reliks like the national flag inaugurated on 2 June 1940, the flag of the Reading Club of the Steel Factory, the Corinthian Cup, the mufflers of András Botos from the SBTC with which he won the Olympics of Munich in 1972. The heritage of four teacher women, the Chmely family are interesting in respect of education history.
During the exhibition, we can screen movies related to Salgótarján or request.
