An engine technician began to collect tape recorders in his adult-hood. He completely succeded in one of his main purposes, that is, to collect the whole range of Hungarian machines.

The museum representing the old type of recorders can be found in one of the nice villages in Nógrád county - Terény. This collection is the largest private collection in the world which covers brands both from the western and eastern parts of the world. The exhibition represents the story of sound filtering. More than 200 types of machines (of 50 factories and 14 countries) can be seen here. All recorders play music contemporary to the times than were made.

Besides the tape recorder collection a significant collection of tapes, heads and documents are also exhibited.
