The water mill built in the middle of the 19th century uses the water of the stream Börzsöny. The long building had used to be a dweling house, a mill and a stable. In the living room today we can visit the exhibition representing the history of the mill industry.
The mill is a two-storeyed structure. A wide roof is protecting the wind mill at the cellar level and the power transmitting system connecting to it. Various equippments, such as the grinder and cleaning facilities are seen above this, on the ground floor.
Grain grinding demands a lot of energy, so the stream had to be led through the mill trench by of a dam and a system of canalization. The stream was directed back through a channel underneath the house.
The Antal-mill was mostly used by the inhabitants of Börzsöny. In summer and early autumn it was working day and night, grinding about 1200-1600 kgs of wheat every day.
