The so-called "Contemporary Compilation" is located on the second floor of the Town Hall. This time it shows artworks by artists who created in the fifties and sixties, after the era of so-called 'socialist realism': Ország Lili, Korniss, Bálint and parallel we also show neo- avant-garde works by Bak Imre, Fajó János, Nádler István, as well as contemporary artworks by Erdély Miklós, Jovánovics György, Szabados Árpád.

Tendencies of censorship, artist generations following one another, trends can be followed via artworks. We did not intend to provide a complete picture but show processes in arts history.
