Brennbergbánya - from the time of its discovery in 1753 - had become the most significant coal mine in Hungary. From 1882 the mine was owned and supervised by the Brennbergi Szénbányászati Rt. After 1945 - because of political reasons - the adits were closed down.
The exhibition welcomes visitors in the first machin house. It presents the history of mining at Brennberg, circumstances, life-style, social life, flags and uniforms of the miners.
