The permanent exhibition presenting the life work of Gyula Feledy was opened in the historic building of 3 Deák Square, in 1988.

The artist - who is numbered among the determinant persons of the contemporary fine arts - presented about 200 of his works to Miskolc. Half of this can be seen in the exhibition halls - in the form of sketches, duplicated graphics and table pictures.

"After three short years odf study I went to Poland to the Krakkó Graphic Arts Academy. I had worked at a painter's department, when after a number of months I bumped into the richly geared graphic work-shop of the Academy. After the murmurings of the painting depatments I was captivated by the healthy atmosphere of those working with hard materials. continue
