The Vidovszky Béla Local History Town Gallery opens its permanent exhibition presenting the artworks of four artists related to our town.
- Vidovszky Béla's paintings and personal memories
- Corini Margit, the painter of Paris nights
- Illéssy Péter's graphics and paintings
- Pásztor János's statues from the National Gallery
The body of the exhibition is the pictures shown in 1986 in the Vidovszky Béla Memorial Room. The painter Corini Margit gave the paintings to the Village of Gyoma.
In the autumn of 1994, the number of pictures grew eg. inheritance of the graphic artist and painter Illéssy Péter born in Gyoma was given to the town by the son of the artist, Illéssy Zoltán.
In 1999, ten statues by Pásztor János were acquired from the National Gallery. The permanent exhibition is now complete with the statues of the artist born in Gyoma.
We also open four of five temporary exhibitions per year of the works of artists related to the region.
