The house at 6 Jókai Mór Street was built by the Berger family after WWI. The family was deported in 1946. The next two owners preserved the house in its original state.
The Local Government of the Town of Vecsés purchased the estate in order to open a village museum in it.
In 2010, the Foundation for the County House of Vecsési was given rights to use the building for th net ten years. During the time that has elapsed since the curatory had the house reconstructed and furnished in a time period fashion of the years 1920-40.
