We revive the story of WWII and the Revolution of 1956 with surprising authenticity in the exhibition rooms under the Castle of Buda. The establishment equipped by operable machines, period contemporary objects and wax works offers real excitement for the visitors who may also discover what the state of war really meant and what tools and means were used during the Cold War.

The permanent exhibition offers a time travel full of adventures.

Guides invite the visitors to see a hospital from 1956, the life behind German ditches, medical tools used in the period from 1940 to 1980, and also the atomic bunkers at Sziklakórház.
