The first local history exhibition was set up by enthusiastic locals at the local school. Their aim was to show tools, furniture, and clothing besides the stories on pageants. When they saw how many people were interested in the collection, they decided to find a permanent location for the showing.

They managed to do so in ten years when a uninhabited house was provided for them by the village leaders. They renovated the building and furnished it before its opening on 19 August 1986. Ten years passed and a new part was added to the building, with community space, restrooms, a kitchen, as well as a stage and an open barn. A number of programs have been held in it ever since.

The clean room has furniture typical of clean rooms. The bed is situated by the wall, with eiderdown piled up on just as it was fashionable those times. The cradle is in front of the beds, with the corner bench in front of it and a table surrounded by chairs in the middle of the room. The bed linen, covers, hats were stored covered on the chest of drawers, with candles an photos on top. The ornamented hope chest was used to store male cloths in. Holy pictures were hung on the walls. The visitors will also find German folk cloths from Pilisszentiván.

Kitchen tools from the 19-20th century are now on display in the kitchen, and tools once used in a shoemaker shop are to be seen in the chamber. Tools that were rarely employed used to be kept in the chamber, such were e.g. pots used to make jelly, tools to make butter, etc. The pots are now displayed on the 'sparherd'.
