The Museum belongs to Centre for Farm Animal Gene Conservation.The building was completed in 1983 for the 29th Apimondia Congress. Its structure symbolizes three cells while the entrance door and roof give an impression of a straw skep. There is a lot of equipment from Hungary and from abroad used from the begining of the 19th century and utilized today as well.
Visitors can see equipment for wax and comb foundation preparation, queen rearing and mating. There are various honey extractors giving nice examples of technical development.
