The Water and Conservation Management of the Upper Tisza Region pays a lot of attention to tending the past. It has operated the Historic Museum of Water management in Nyíregyháza since 1962. They had long planned to form a collection of the old machines and equipments. The coal store in Nagyecsed at the lot of the László Péchy pump plan seemed to be the right location for the collection. The building built on stone base and covered with planks in 1914 is still in an excellent condition nowadays. This is the scene of our exhibition.

The inauguration was held on 11, Sept. 1998. The exhibition Hall of the Water and Conservation Management of the Upper Tisza Region of Nagyecsed received leave of operation in the same year.
