Rózsa Polgár graduated from the Carpet and Gobelin Faculty of the Academy of Arts in 1967. In the period from 1968 to 1970 she did educational trips to Switzerland, France and Germany. She lived in Geneva from 1981 to 1987. In 1973 she won silver medal at the Triennial in Milan, she was 6th in 1980, 9th in 1986 at the Wall and Space Textile Biennial in Szombathely, in 1991 she won the 1st prize of the Ferenczy Centenary.  |

| More and more people get on their bikes every year in Budapest noticing how environment friendly bicycles are. Reacting to the unbearable traffic, a number of civil organizations formed recently to lobby by bicycle road constructions. The situation also brought along the formation of a kind of subculture of cyclers. |

| The internationally acclaimed artist, Allan Sekula's (Erie, Pennsylvania, 1951) principal art is photography. Ever since the beginning of his career he has been interested in visuality, including traditional artistic ways of portrayal. His works make critical contributions on questions of social reality, with the working man defenceless against global capital in the centre of his attention. |

| The artistic talent of István Szőnyi (1894-1960) first showed mostly in landscapes at the begining of his career. When he moved to Zebegény in 1924, the Danube region effected him with the power of revelation. He painted his large pictures of the Danube Bend one after another. |
