The Exhibition of the Textile Artist Rózsa Polgár

Rózsa Polgár graduated from the Carpet and Gobelin Faculty of the Academy of Arts in 1967. In the period from 1968 to 1970 she did educational trips to Switzerland, France and Germany. She lived in Geneva from 1981 to 1987. In 1973 she won silver medal at the Triennial in Milan, she was 6th in 1980, 9th in 1986 at the Wall and Space Textile Biennial in Szombathely, in 1991 she won the 1st prize of the Ferenczy Centenary. The Painter of the Danube Bend István Szőnyi

The artistic talent of István Szőnyi (1894-1960) first showed mostly in landscapes at the begining of his career. When he moved to Zebegény in 1924, the Danube region effected him with the power of revelation. He painted his large pictures of the Danube Bend one after another. Bővebben >>
