The exhibition was realized by members of the Association for Hungarian Memoirs in the World. The objective of the members of the association is to research, register and show Hungarian memoirs in Europe and the world. The members organize exhibitions, hold lectures, screen films, publish articles to inform on Hungarian culture in consideration of the upcoming anniversary. The association often informs the audience on various culture present in Hungary.
Saint Elizabeth
Until mid 2007, the association held exhibitions related to 14 topics. We accepted 78 invitations to programs in Hungary and abroad. The members are extremely proud of the association's collection of 350 photos on 35 pageants. The Marburg statue of Saint Elizabeth is included in the logo of the association ever since its establishment in January 2001. It is the symbol of love.

This present exhibition organized on the 800th anniversary of the birth of the saint has been shown in Camrai, Achen, Buda, Pilisszenkereszt, Szasa, Paris and now in Szeged. The exhibition will travel on to a number of institutions in Hungary and abroad.

The objective of the exhibition is to introduce Saint Elizabeth, the offspring of the Royal Árpád House. Saint Elizabeth is respected and loved in many continents of the world. Her love of the fallen and real concern for social issues should serve as example for the politicians of our present times. In our world that only admits ego and individualism humanism took the place of Christian faith.

Off course, works of art are selected subjectively all over the world. The association intended to show the nicest and less known artworks via photos taken in Hungary, Austria, Poland, France, England and Italy.

At the end, a pageant presents interesting memoirs from overseas towns, from Chicago to Saigon. We are planning to add material to the present one.

Please, view our collection about the artistic representation of the "woman of love" with a good heart. We show them to you with honest love.
