Dragons have captured the public's imagination for thousands of years. They are included in the various mythologies, legends, images and early texts as well. Fight against dragons, the fighting motif confronts us with the difficulties of fights in life. A hero must struggle to reach a higher level of existence.

Presentation of dragons allows for different approaches. We undertook to outline the interpretations of dragons in various cultures, we also attempt to introduce the visitors to the "scientific" attempts to describe them, we also present their highly productive presence in the fine arts, however, above all, we recommend the dragons in literature to our visitors' attention.

A PIM offers experiential encounter in the exciting world of dragons to all ages. In addition to original works of art copies can be tested and also some creative games enrich the exhibition. Examples from cultural history serve as starting point for the rich selection dragon versions in literature.

We selected from a wide variety of literary genres, from the finest classic and contemporary literature through children's literature, folk tales and fantasy literature on dragons. We came close to this fascinating creature through a variety of literary texts. The following authors can be found among teh authors: Lajos Áprily, Mihály Babits, István Csukás, Győző Ferencz, Zoltán Jékely, Mór Jókai, Lajos Kassák, János Kodolányi, István Kormos, Dezső Kosztolányi, Gyula Krúdy, Ervin Lázár, Ferenc Móra, János Pilinszky, Lőrinc Szabó, Ernő Szép, Zsuzsa Takács, Mihály Tompa, Mihály Vörösmarty, Sándor Weöres, Tibor Zalán and many others.

The exhibition will involve visitors to learn about dragons in an interactive way.
