The Nature trail Avignon buckthorn introduces primarily natural treasures of the stone quarry of Fertőrákos, secondary those of the Fertő Hills and of the Fertő-Hanság National Park. With the help of the thematic display sites on the lookout spots one can get an insight into the most relevant habitats, plant and animal species occurring along the trail as well as land use in the past and present.
