Huge statues are to occupy the yard of the Székely National Museum in the middle of October. Statues by the sculptor Tibor Kolozsi are arriving from the Bánffy Palace of Cluj where they were on display on occasion of the 50th birthday of the artist.
The Munkácsy Prize awarde artist who lives in Cluj graduated from the Ion Andreescu Collage where he presently works as a lecturer. His works are mainly bronze, concise, highly simplified forms of visual structures. He participated in the restoration works of the Alba Iulia Roman Catholic Episcopal Church, that of the Statue of Liberty of Arad as well as the Matthias Statue complex in Cluj.
