The exhibition (entitled Bronze landscape) to be opened in the Dorottya Gallery represents the works of sculptor Ildikó Zsemlye, one of the Munkácsy-prized artists of the year 2003.
The motif of trains appeared in the art of Ildikó Zsemlye but a few years ago. In the landscape statues presented through real and organic materials, the main role is played by the train carriage as an industry historical object. In the art of Zsemlye the land-art and minimal-art elements are mixing with the symbolic use of the realistic and mockup-like train carriage.
