The exhibition reviews the birth of a child - pregnancy, birth, cradle, christening, and life with a child – with an eye on culture history. The visitors will find reviews of traditional folk culture, in addition to several related items from the museum collection, as well as objects and photos from the 21st century.

Is giving birth only a matter for women? And being born???
At home or in hospital?
Pregnant or expectant?
With the dad present or not?
Where does birth begin? With marriage, at fertilization or at giving birth?
Should the stroller be a Gucci or a second hand one?
Should there be a christening or just a name giving ceremony?
Prayer or prejudice ?
Healthy lifestyle or deeds that brings "bad luck"?

In traditional peasant culture giving birth and raising a child was absolutely natural, it was part of everyday life. The medium of happy life was the big family where parents and children lived happily and could progress.

The objective of our exhibition is to ask questions about pregnancy and living with a baby in the family. By showing how families spent their evening, we hope to provide for realistic examples.
