The sixteen historic paintings that were made to illustrate the Basic Law provides picture of significant events in the last one-hundred and fifty years of Hungarian history. In addition to the 150x108 centimetre works of art, we also show 30 of those works in the exhibition room in Szeged that contested at the application The Past, Present and Future of Hungary that was announced for children last September. In addition, the visitors will also see 33 publications that were created to make the Basic Law popular.

The illustrations have been on display in the framework of the exhibition Heroes, Kings, Saints at the Hungarian National Gallery. The travelling exhibition is to visit several towns in Hungary, then, in 2014 they will arrive at their final destination, the Building of Parliament.
