The exhibition is about the history of writing and drawing, the art of illustration and European book, as well as about how books and literature influenced one another in contemporary art. The exhibition Et Lettera invites the visitors to take a look at the method of writing training in Europe, the historic changes in the medium of using Latin style and how calligraphy, typography has been applied.
contemporary artists endeavour to study languages of literary-visual art parallel with international courses of events. The artists invited to show used images, signs, visual quotations as inspiration.
The programme Et Lettera selected material from libraries and museums of 6 towns (Arad, Barcelona, Brn, Debrecen, Strasbourg and Warsaw.
