The exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts as part of the series 'The Work of Art of the Season' reviews ancient bathing culture. The collection including oil containers, bathing basins, scrapers and even a bathing chair, is on display until 12 September.
Roman bathing culture evolved from that of the Greek. Historic buildings remind us of the culture across the territory of the Roman empire, thus, in Pannonia, too. But not only the buildings, but various other items talk about ancient bathing culture. The most important accessories were scrapers and followed by oil pots or containers.
