When we hear the name of the village Ebes we recall a well-organized settlement. What only a few know is that one of the 12 closed labor camps was situated on the territory of Ebes in the 50's. Thousands of innocent people with their families, from little children to very old men, were settled there at the time of the Stalinist communist regime. Even fatally ill were included.
