One of the most important inventions in the history of humankind is tillage. The development of agriculture provided for a higher standard of life. This development was possible due to new technical inventions.
The culture of a past society can be observed via tools it used in agriculture. The exhibition presents tools and machines used in agriculture in the context of technology.
We show the process from the first tools used by the peasantry to modern agricultural technology. All material we show is original. Parts of development missing are shown by scale models or copies of objects held by foreign museums.
Most of the models and objects are operable so we can also show how they function.
